Famous Forums
New Theory of University Town—Master’s Lecture, aims at sharing the original new thoughts, new understanding and new concepts of University Town. The forums have become the frontiers for Shenzhen industrial community and common citizens to perceive scientific development. It is organized by University Town Management Office, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily and Shenzhen Evening News.

Bauhinia Forum, Century Tsinghua & Pearl River Forum, Academic Forum for Doctoral Students from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. They are organized by Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University.

In 2014, firstly, the operation mechanism of University Town Art Troupe was gradually improved wiith the issuing of policies including Management Policy for Rowing Team of University Town of Shenzhen, and Management Policy for Art Troupe of University Town of Shenzhen. A high-quality and high-level culture and art group consisting of over 110 people came into being. Secondly, there was a steady stream of recreational and sports activities, attracting the participation of  three experimental schools. A larger and broader culture communication platform took shape with  the teacher/student participation rate of 96%. We has been committed to hosting event and activities such as New Theory Ÿ Master Lecture, Campus Singer Contest, University Students Debate Invitational, Comprehensive Sports Meeting, Citizen Long-distance Running Day, Campus Open Day and New Year Gala. We successfully planned and organized the first Cuisine Culture Festival, the first Campus Photography Competition, the first series of Elegant Art Entering Campus, as well as 2014 Spring Culture and Art Communication Activity. Moreover, we organized over 100 teaching and administrative staff from the three schools to take part in the choral competition of the educational institutions of Shenzhen, etc. Thirdly, we compiled the first series of Shenzhen University Town New Theory Master Lecture covering 13 lectures held in 2011 and 2012, which was published in the spring of 2015.
