This spring, the Tsinghua SIGS campus has welcomed new life with a brood of newly hatched ducklings!

These duck eggs were first spotted by students a few months ago and were given to school staff to take care of. Under much anticipation, these baby ducklings emerged from their shells and took their first careful steps into this world.

Now, they can be seen waddling around campus.

Sometimes, they stare out curiously, watching our students rush past between classes.

They often strike cute and innocent poses, waiting to be captured under the spotlight.

This time of the year, our campus is also blooming with signs of spring. Flowering Tabebuia rosea trees, also known as rosy trumpet trees, line the Dasha River along our campus.

Bauhinia trees, a species native to the city of Hong Kong, bear purple and pink orchid-like flowers on its branches.

We encourage you to take a stroll around campus, enjoy the warm weather, and discover the romantic blooms of spring and rich wildlife on campus! Happy spring!
